I work at Furniture Deals in Overland Park. I'm not the owner. I'm the KC Furniture Guy because I built this site to share what I learn helping people every day.

I'm here Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Come see me.

What I Do All Day

I'm on the floor helping people figure out what they need. What's the difference between bonded leather and top grain? Do you have this in gray? Can you get it delivered this week?

Sometimes someone comes in looking for one thing and leaves with something different because it just made more sense for their space. That's the part of the job I like most. Helping people get it right, not just get it sold.

Who I Work Best With

I'm not a pushy salesperson. I'm the guy who asks questions because I want to understand your situation before I show you anything.

• If you don't know exactly what you want, good. Let's figure it out together.
• If you're furnishing your first apartment or first house, I'll walk you through what matters without making you feel dumb.
• If you have a budget you want to stick to, I'll respect that and show you what fits.
• If you want someone who gives you straight answers, that's what I do.

I work with people who come to the store. I can't help much over the phone or online because you need to see it and sit on it. That's the whole point.

Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm
• Sunday: Noon to 5pm
• Eric's days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Weekday afternoons are usually quieter. Weekends are busy but I'm there.

Just come in and ask for Eric. I'll be around.
