I'm Eric.
I work at Furniture Deals in Overland Park. I'm not the owner - I'm just the guy helping people find furniture that actually works for their home and budget.
Most days, I'm on the floor answering questions. What's the difference between bonded leather and top grain? Will this sofa fit through my door? Do you have this in gray? Can you get it delivered this week?
I help people figure out what they need, not just what they came in asking for. Sometimes that means talking them out of something expensive that won't hold up. Sometimes it means finding something in the back they didn't see.
Honestly? I got tired of answering the same questions over and over. Not that I mind - it's my job - but I figured if I wrote it down, people could read it first and we'd have better conversations when they came in.
This site is just me writing stuff down so you don't have to guess. No marketing department, no corporate approval. If something here seems too good to be true, that's because I haven't updated it yet.
When to Find Me
I'm there: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Store Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm
- Sunday: Noon to 5pm
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons are usually quieter. Weekends are busier but I'm there.
