Most people want their furniture delivered. Makes sense. Sofas are heavy, and not everyone has a truck and three friends.
Where We Deliver
Kansas City metro area. That's Overland Park, Kansas City, Lenexa, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood, and surrounding areas.
Outside the KC area? Ask me in-store. Sometimes we can work something out, sometimes we can't.
How It Works
When you buy something in-store, Furniture Deals schedules delivery for a day that works. Deliveries go out Tuesday through Saturday - the guys get Sunday and Monday off.
Here's the thing about delivery timing: it's always a moving target. You could come in today and hear that delivery for something in stock is at the end of the week. But by the time you come back tomorrow? That spot could be filled. Furniture Deals gets orders every day, they run their own trucks, and availability shifts. It's never static.
You pick the day. You don't pick the time - no morning, afternoon, or evening requests. Here's how it works: the evening before your delivery, you'll get a 3-hour time frame. That's when they're coming. Could be morning, could be afternoon, could be evening. The warehouse packs the trucks the night before for the most efficient route, and that's how they know when you're getting yours.
On delivery day, you'll get a heads up when the drivers finish their previous stop and are on the way to you. Could be 15 minutes away, could be across town. Either way, they'll be there within that 3-hour window you got the night before. Waiting for delivery isn't so bad when you know it's coming.
What to Expect
- They bring everything inside, full set up and assembly
- They'll go up three flights of stairs to the 4th floor - after that, you need a freight elevator (not a passenger elevator)
- They DON'T haul away old furniture. Period. No exceptions.
- Clear the path before they arrive
Delivery Fees
$139.99 flat rate within the greater Kansas City area. That covers Overland Park, Kansas City, Lenexa, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood, and surrounding areas.
Active duty and veterans get $25 off delivery. Bring your ID.
Outside the KC area? Ask me in-store. Sometimes it can be worked out, sometimes Furniture Deals can't deliver there.
Preparing for Delivery
Measure your space before you buy. You'll need to measure your room, hallways, and doorways. I recommend measuring twice.
If something doesn't work in your space, that's on you. Measure first, and I'll help you figure it out.
Pickup Option
Floor samples can be picked up same-day if they're marked as-is. Everything else gets delivered from the warehouse.
If you're picking up, you load it yourself - bring your own straps, tie-downs, and make sure your vehicle is big enough. The store doesn't load for you.
